My name is Amanda Rourke and I'm an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant.
I enjoy creating ceremonies that break the traditional norms (whether it be obviously, or subtly) . Fun and Laughter are part of my every day and I enjoy bringing a playful element to Ceremonies.... after all, if you aren't serious people, why have a serious Ceremony. That doesn't mean it's crass and unimportant - quite the contrary. I'll please the traditionalists in your circle, without compromising on what your ideals are. I'll find that balance between what you and your partner want and create a Ceremony that you both walk away saying "Amanda really captured US".

Beyond a Celebrant, I've worn many hats. I've managed a Lighting Store, am a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, am a Mother of two little Munchkins and have self-published a Children's Book, just to name a few. My eclectic background assists my creative endeavours and having such an amazing outlet such as weddings, is not only exciting, but an added honour with each wedding I have the privilege of being involved with.
